This is a dedicated events club for IMA Institute members and for IMA providers only.


Networking is the 'life force' of interim executives. Whether your 'route to market' is via providers or through previous employers, past clients, people you know or come into contact with, or people they know, the ability to network and to manage that network effectively are key skills of your trade.

The IMA Institute offers members the opportunity to both learn and benefit from these skills in a variety of ways.



Networking Events

Purpose:

To meet each other as members of the Institute periodically, to discuss business issues of the day and matters of interest, to meet providers, and to benefit from speakers on topical industry subjects.

We hold regular events in London (at least every second month). Events are run on a Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and are highly sought after. It is our intent to run Regional meetings as soon as numbers allow

Rules and Procedures

  1. The Network club shall be run for the benefit of members of the IMA Institute.
  2. Membership of the club is automatically assigned as part of membership of the Institute.
  3. Meetings will be held at regular intervals at suitable venues.
  4. Events will be held in London initially, but the aim of the Club is to hold Regional events as soon as numbers allow.
  5. Events will normally be held on a Wednesday, but may be held on a Tuesday or Thursday.
  6. Events will normally run from 6.15pm to 8.15pm
  7. Each event will carry an "event fee" to cover costs of venue, food, a glass of wine and a small administrative charge (which includes credit card charges).
  8. Event participation will be by on-line registration and payment on a first paid first serve basis.
  9. Event fees are non-refundable (as venue, food and credit charges are also usually non-refundable). However, registered interims who cannot attend, and who inform the Institute at least 48 hrs before an event, will have the opportunity of attending the next event at a 25% discount.
  10. Every effort will be made to have a selection of IMA providers present at every event, but we will endeavour to keep the ratio at one provider to three interims.
  11. Every effort will be made to have a speaker (s) at each event. Members are invited to nominate speakers. Speakers will normally start speaking at 6.45pm.
  12. Dress is "as you like", although members will be expected to maintain standards of decency!
